We knew adulting would be hard…
But it’s almost impossible! It’s a nonstop barrage of stressors from work, family, relationships, and everyday life.
You find yourself filled with anxiety and dread – even sadness, at times. (It can’t really be depression, can it??) ‘Would-ofs,’ ‘could-ofs,’ and ‘should-ofs’ pile up in your head.
The rumination and regret keep you up at night.
The new normal…
Unfortunately, it’s feeling physically, emotionally, and mentally depleted.
You’re exhausted, yet you keep helping others… and you never ask for help yourself (even though you need it).
You feel like a shell of who you used to be… yet you keep on pushing.
“Call someone who can help?”
“I’ll get around to it.”
It’s your reflexive response to your loved ones when they encourage you to reach out for help.
They love you and want to see you well. You feel that… you might even agree.
But you feel so overwhelmed with daily life. By the time you get a minute to sit down, it’s so easy to say, ”Ahhh… I’ll just call tomorrow.”
And there it is: The cycle of anxiety, stress, and depression starts again.
Everyone can use a therapist.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard…
“I wish I had come to therapy sooner,” or “I should have started therapy as a teen or young adult.”
Therapy doesn’t have to be an invasive journey into your deepest thoughts. It can be, but it’s so much more than that.
Individual therapy is a time just for YOU. You can address family, relationship, mental health, or general life issues.
Therapy can be enjoyable and a relief. You can come in and vent, dropping your burdens here so you can leave a lighter, happier person.
I’ll hold this space for you to relax, unwind, gain perspective, and feel empowered!
You do so much for everyone else…
Do this for yourself. It’s time to stop the cycle and get YOUR needs met.
Life will throw you curve balls. Let me be in your corner to help you through them.
There’s no better time than the present!
